3 Health Care Jobs That Will Always Be Hot
The health care industry is an ever growing field with opportunities on almost every level expanding. As it stands now, the US has a severe and growing need for over 200,000 health care professionals and that number could be rising due to a few factors.
The second is that we are more health conscious and listen to our bodies better these days. When we feel something not right we make sure that a professional has an opportunity to take a look and get us back on the right track.
The current administration has announced that there will be three central issues addressed:
Quality of Care
Coverage
Cost
With the government taking more of an interest in health care that will bring more health care jobs and that opens the door for the following three hot health care jobs;
1) Registered Nurse - a RN earns an average of over 60,000 annually and
the education required to become an RN is not egregious. An associates or
bachelors degree, some specialized on the job training and you are on your
way to a nice income with great job security.
2) Dental Assistant - Although a dental assistant earns about half of an
RN at an average of 31,000, the education requirements are much less as
well. All one needs is simple secondary education and a few months to a
year of training on the job and you are golden.
3) Health Information Technicians - With an associates degree, one can get
a job as a medical records technician and bring in about 29,000 a year
with very little stress.
Although these are three hot health care jobs, there are many other available positions, many of which are support positions with flexible hours and decent pay. Administrators, accountants, secretaries, receptionists are just a few of the other opportunities that are growing due to the expansion of the health care field.
So, if you are looking for good pay and job security, you may want to consider a job in the health care field.
